Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking detail shop staff to assure the quality of vehicle detailing and manage line staff to meet production goals. The role focuses on inspecting workmanship, training teammates, and maintaining safety and organization within a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and 1–2 years of auto detailing experience; auction knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred and safety-conscious mindset.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to operate basic shop equipment.
• 1–2 years auto detailing experience preferred and auction knowledge desirable.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and weather environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of work and ensure detail standards are met.
• Communicate quality expectations to detail line staff.
• Assign tasks based on strengths and supervise SOP adherence.
• Assist on the detail line and complete final detailing as needed.
• Keep the shop clean, safe, and well-organized; report incidents.
• Log vehicle information and photograph vehicles per standards.
• Run inventory reports and escalate equipment issues to management.
• Other duties assigned by the manager.
