Job summary

ADESA is seeking detail shop associates to ensure first-time-right vehicle detailing quality across the team. You will inspect results, communicate standards, and tailor assignments to individual strengths while supporting the detail line and performing final tasks.

The role emphasizes efficient, safe operations, proper documentation, and collaboration with multiple departments to meet high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning tools such as vacuums, pressure washers, drills, and cleaning chemicals.
• Prior auto detailing experience preferred (1–2 years).
• Proficient computer skills and ability to log vehicle information.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of work by each detail line member and communicate quality expectations.
• Assign detailing tasks based on worker strengths within the detail process.
• Train team members on standard operating procedures for vehicle detail.
• Assist on the detail line and perform final detailing tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report incidents to management.
