Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles seeks a Quality Assurance Reviewer I to perform QA review and audits of program documentation and databases to ensure grant, contract and legal compliance. The QA team supports audit readiness across VOALA programs and assists with external audits and corrective actions.

Under the supervision of a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will help ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in VOALA’s service delivery for Los Angeles communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience (4 years)
• Fingerprint clearance and background check required
• Experience in quality assurance or data driven environment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA procedures to ensure VOALA Program files are accurate and meet funder requirements (hard copy and electronic databases)
• Performs QA audit for every assigned VOALA program each fiscal year
• Strives to have all assigned VOALA programs “audit ready” for external audits
• Acquire broad knowledge of assigned program contracts and grants and their requirements through research and engagement with programs
• Perform special audits and provide training and corrective action support as needed
• Support programs prior to funder audits and review audit results from funders’ audits
