Job summary

Jet Excellence, LLC seeks a Quality & Compliance Analyst to oversee safety, airworthiness, and regulatory compliance of the aircraft maintenance program. You will act as SME and superuser for the electronic recordkeeping system, manage tools and vendors, and ensure adherence to FAA regulations and approved manuals.

The role supports the Director of Maintenance and Quality with audits, data reporting, and process improvements. Travel ~15% required.

The Role

This role is responsible for trending and oversight of programs to support safety, airworthiness, and regulatory compliance of the company’s aircraft maintenance program. The position supports the Director of Maintenance and the Quality team by serving as the subject matter expert and superuser of the electronic recordkeeping system, managing tracking of tooling and vendors, ensuring adherence to contracted programs for engines and APUs, and other duties to support compliance with FAA regulations, approved maintenance manuals, and company policies. Strong attention to detail, regulatory awareness, and a compliance-driven mindset are essential for success in this role.

Primary Duties

• Maintain configuration of the electronic recordkeeping system (Veryon and successors) to include user access rights and system reports.
• Provide training to new and current employees on electronic recordkeeping system usage, navigation and new functionality as applicable to trainees’ job functions.
• Manage the company tool program, including tool inventory control, checkout procedures, tracking of tools issued to personnel or sent on the road, and overall accountability of company-owned tools.
• Oversee the calibrated tool program, ensuring all tools and test equipment are properly calibrated, records are maintained, and out-of-tolerance conditions are quarantined, investigated and resolved.
• Oversee the contracted APU and engine fleet programs.
• Develop, track, and report fleet metrics and reliability data.
• Ownership of the Approved Vendor List (AVL) with timely, accurate updates and control of users’ access rights.
• Assist the Quality Manager with paperwork audits, internal compliance monitoring, documentation reviews, and related quality assurance activities.
• Help create, revise, and maintain Maintenance Control forms and other quality-related forms and procedures to ensure accuracy, usability, and regulatory compliance.
• Support root cause analysis, trend monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by the Quality Manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Quality Assurance department.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.

Skills & Qualifications

• Trained in Audit, Risk Assessment, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, and Human Factors.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in data analysis and comprehension, analytical thinking, and critical thinking.
• Strong knowledge of software including, but not limited to, Microsoft Windows Office Suite/Outlook Word, Excel, PowerPoint and be able to utilize the Internet.
• Ability to act as the subject matter expert on functionality of, and integrations with, the electronic recordkeeping system for aircraft maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid FAA Mechanics Certificate with both airframe and powerplant ratings is preferred but not required.
• Maintain safety sensitive employee status in the company’s FAA-approved Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend or kneel for extended periods of time.
