Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst. Duties:

  • Define test requirements, test complex functionality, and build detailed test scripts
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders for projects, as needed
  • Perform tests under strict deadlines
  • Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status
  • Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs
  • Documents all issues and assists in their resolution
  • Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners
  • Performs quality audits for the project to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Perform root cause analysis on critical production defects
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design a test coverage plan
  • Read code and support applications, reports, and processes
  • Evaluate and report test results
  • Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
  • Identify potential quality issues per defined processes and escalate to management
  • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
  • Perform root cause analysis on critical production defects
  • Collaborate with other testers as needed on cross-functional projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Software testing
  • SAP Ariba experience is a plus
  • Experience in conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • Self-driven to meet deliverables and project timelines
  • Experience in reports, stored procedures, jobs, and data warehouse testing is a plus
  • Requirements Analysis experience
  • Experience working with a cross-functional team
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with Application Lifestyle Management (ALM) to manage testing and test reporting a plus
  • Ability to set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the QA manager
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
