Job summary

Accelevation designs, manufactures and installs advanced infrastructure powering today’s technology. The Quality Assurance Specialist will monitor operations, perform inspections, and support nonconformance management to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.

This role requires attention to detail and collaboration with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to promote continuous improvement and adherence to the QMS.

Qualifications

  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs and work instructions.
  • Use basic measurement tools such as calipers, tape measures, gauges.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections on parts and assemblies to ensure specs.
  • Conduct routine process audits to verify SOPs and 5S practices.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality to drive improvements.
  • Document nonconforming materials, initiate NCRs, and support RCA/CAPA activities.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and inspection data.
  • Support QMS through Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Assist in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Impact

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for monitoring and supporting Operations to ensure product quality and compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable standards. This role performs routine inspections and process audits, verifies conformance to drawings and work instructions, and supports the management of nonconformances. The Quality Assurance Specialist also assists with root cause analysis and corrective actions, maintains accurate quality records, and promotes consistent adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS). Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and effective collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.


Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Perform in-process and final inspections on parts, assemblies, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.

  • Conduct routine process audits to verify adherence to Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and 5S practices.

  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

  • Document and report nonconforming materials, initiate NCRs, and support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.

  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

  • Support the QMS by enforcing Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Provide feedback to improve work instructions, inspection criteria, and overall process efficiency.

  • Participate in internal and external audits, as needed, to support compliance efforts.

  • Maintain accurate quality records and inspection data.


Qualifications


  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions,

  • Ability to perform inspections with basic measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges).

  • Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality culture, and ability to support QMS requirements including documentation and process adherence.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in ISO 9001 manufacturing or fabrication environments

  • Background in quality inspection, process audits, nonconformance management, NCRs, CAPA, or structured problem-solving

  • Understanding of manufacturing workflows such as fabrication, machining, assembly, or material handling.


Experience with 5S or Lean/Six Sigma.


Exposure to supplier quality management or vendor inspections.
