Job summary

Accelevation LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to monitor operations and support quality compliance. You will perform in-process and final inspections, verify conformance to drawings, and assist with nonconformances and CAPA activities.

Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to drive improvements and maintain quality records. Proficiency with basic measurement tools and MS Office is required, with ISO 9001 familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Ability to perform inspections with basic measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges).
• Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality culture, and ability to support QMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on parts, assemblies, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.
• Conduct routine process audits to verify adherence to Work Instructions, SOPs, and 5S practices.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Document and report nonconforming materials, initiate NCRs, and support RCA and CAPA activities.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection data.
• Support the QMS by enforcing GDP and improving instructions and criteria.
• Participate in internal and external audits as needed.

Your Impact

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for monitoring and supporting Operations to ensure product quality and compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable standards. This role performs routine inspections and process audits, verifies conformance to drawings and work instructions, and supports the management of nonconformances. The Quality Assurance Specialist also assists with root cause analysis and corrective actions, maintains accurate quality records, and promotes consistent adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS). Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and effective collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on parts, assemblies, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.
• Conduct routine process audits to verify adherence to Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and 5S practices.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Document and report nonconforming materials, initiate NCRs, and support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Support the QMS by enforcing Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Provide feedback to improve work instructions, inspection criteria, and overall process efficiency.
• Participate in internal and external audits, as needed, to support compliance efforts.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection data.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions,
• Ability to perform inspections with basic measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges).
• Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality culture, and ability to support QMS requirements including documentation and process adherence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ISO 9001 manufacturing or fabrication environments
• Background in quality inspection, process audits, nonconformance management, NCRs, CAPA, or structured problem-solving
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows such as fabrication, machining, assembly, or material handling.

Experience with 5S or Lean/Six Sigma.

Exposure to supplier quality management or vendor inspections.
