Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Production Assembly and Packaging Associate in Saint Louis, MO. This onsite role involves building finished goods from components, inspecting for quality, and labeling for shipment.

Responsibilities include reviewing instructions and BOMs, assembling per specs, testing units, and escalating issues as needed. Training and safety are emphasized, with emphasis on teamwork and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review travelers, production instructions, BOMs, and related docs before starting work.
• Notify production leader or quality rep when documentation conflicts or issues arise.
• Assemble products using components, subassemblies, and fasteners per specifications.
• Examine materials and components for quality during production.
• Test and visually inspect completed units for operation, cleanliness, workmanship and defects.
• Escalate concerns requiring additional review and take corrective action as authorized.
• Make quality decisions to ensure only acceptable products ship.
• Complete final quality review before packing and release to customer.
• Package products with correct labels to prevent shipping or identification errors.
• Assist in orienting and training new employees on processes and expectations.
• Participate in warm‑up exercises to reduce risk of repetitive injuries.
• Keep work area clean, orderly, and compliant with safety rules.
• Communicate with supervisors and quality personnel effectively.
• Perform additional production‑related responsibilities as assigned.
