Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Associate Operator, Production Technician I to join our on-site team. You will set up machines to specification, fill and label products, and maintain sanitation between orders.

Responsibilities include reading batch reports, verifying batch weights, and supporting training of new employees while following safety, quality, and GMP guidelines in a food manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Food plant experience and forklift license required.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Must be on your feet most of the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle a 35 lb product hose.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to specification.
• Fill and label products; clean and sanitize equipment between orders.
• Read and understand batch reports to set up machines to order specifications.
• Verify batch weights and quantities through calculations.
• Assist Group Leader and Production Supervisor in training and competency reviews.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and GMP guidelines in the plant.
