We supply printed plastic bags to major manufacturers in the US, in markets such as: Bakery, Ice, Consuming products, Tortilla and Lawn & Garden.Position Description:This person will provide technical assistance to customers and the sales team. Support quality control, sales, and R&D departments by providing on-site technical expertise related to customer complaints and approval processes.Duties:Assess packaging equipment set up and performance.Evaluate how SPRs films and bags run on various lines.Troubleshoot and identify opportunities to improve product compatibility and efficiency.Lead root cause investigations for quality control claims.Collaborate on product development and improvement initiatives.Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistryThe ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledgeAbility to interact confidently with operators, engineers, plant managers and purchasing teams.Will work cross functionally to enhance product performance and strengthen customer relationshipProvide opportunities for SPR’s flexible packaging and agriculture solutions.Positive and energetic individuals that can work well with all levels of an organization; must be able to get along well with others and willing to work long hours when neededExcellent organization skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills – both written and oralAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentIn depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPointExperience with industrial packaging equipment is preferred but not required.
