Job summary

SPR Packaging Greenville is seeking an Experienced Quality Technician to support production quality control and regulatory compliance in our Greenville, TX facility. You will conduct material and finished product examinations, establish quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities include lab testing, data analysis, developing QC procedures, and communicating issues to management.

SPR Packaging is a manufacturer of flexible packaging located in Rockwall, Texas. We supply printed plastic bags to major manufacturers in the US, in markets such as: Bakery, Ice, Consuming products, Tortilla and Lawn & Garden.

Primarily working for all aspects of manufacturing quality control, quality assurance certifications, and regulations. This technician will be responsible for conducting tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• Quality experience in a manufacturing environment and/or a background in science, math, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Positive and energetic individuals that can work well with all levels of an organization; must be able to get along well with others and willing to work long hours when needed
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
