Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of exempt experience (Master's: 1 year)
• NNS Apprentice School graduate
• Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
• Associate's Degree or other 2-year program with 2 years of exempt experience or 4 years non-exempt experience
• Military Paygrade E-5 or above
• High School/GED plus 4 years combined of Manufacturing/Shipbuilding/Trades/Military experience (exempt)
• High School/GED plus 8 years combined of Manufacturing/Shipbuilding/Trades/Military experience (non-exempt)
• Experience in pipe and hanger manufacturing preferred
• Experience in quality audits, TLS, DLS, and identifying systemic quality issues

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical QC, lean manufacturing, and six-sigma tools.
• Ensure performance and quality products conform to company and regulatory standards.
• Review, analyze, and report on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Investigate problems and develop dispositions and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
• Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor reps to ensure requirements are met.
• Recommend corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
