Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Quality Analyst for the Texarkana Mill to lead quality management, drive process improvements, and respond to customer concerns. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Two or more years in manufacturing, quality, process engineering, or continuous improvement preferred.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and GMP/Quality systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software such as Minitab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety as a core value and support a safe workplace.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process capability.
• Partner with operations and technical teams to identify gaps and implement solutions.
• Use root cause analysis and statistical methods to investigate issues.
• Analyze data to identify trends, reduce variability, and improve product quality.
• Coordinate manufacturing trials, process changes, and product qualifications.
• Lead cost-reduction and process-improvement projects, including capital initiatives.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain expertise in paperboard grades, testing methods, and specifications.
• Investigate customer complaints and develop corrective actions.
• Interface with customers, Sales, and Operations to communicate improvements.
• Provide guidance on board properties, testing methods, and customer expectations.
• Develop, maintain, and improve quality systems and reporting processes.
• Support compliance with ISO, GMP, and Safe Quality Food programs.
• Mentor operations personnel on quality standards and problem-solving.
