Job summary

Universal Logistics in Mesa, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented analyst to join our logistics team on 2nd shift (1:30pm–11:30pm). You will analyze customer-reported defects on inventory and monitor daily productivity, SOP compliance, KPI performance, and invoicing.

To succeed, you should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with SAP and EWM systems, with strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, logistics or distribution center environment preferred.
• Able to work a maximum 40 hour work week.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Moderate proficiency with office based software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Associate’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer-reported defects on inventory.
• Monitor daily productivity, SOP compliance, KPI performance and invoicing.
• Interact with the customer daily to ensure satisfaction.
• Generate reports on production, quality, safety, timeliness, staffing and discrepancies.
• Investigate and correct quality-related issues.
• Assist with other tasks as delegated by the customer or Quality Supervisor.

Our operation is based in Mesa, AZ and supports Boeing Aerospace in the area. We manage and operate a warehouse facility providing pick and pack, sequencing, and inventory management support.

Shifts Available:

2nd shift:Monday - Friday from 1:30pm - 11:30pm

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Analysis of customer reported defects on inventory
• Monitoring daily productivity, SOP compliance, KPI performance and invoicing
• Interacting with the customer on a daily basis and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Expert in Microsoft (Excel) – Other systems: SAP & EWM
• Various reports related to production, quality, safety, timeliness, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies
• Investigate (and correct) any quality related issues
• Other tasks delegated by the customer and/or Quality Supervisor
