Job summary

Universal Logistics in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a detail-oriented analyst for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 1:30pm-11:30pm). You will analyze inventory defects, monitor KPIs, and generate reports on production, quality and timeliness, while maintaining strong communication with the customer.

The ideal candidate has experience in logistics or distribution, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer-reported defects on inventory.
• Monitor daily productivity, SOP compliance, KPI performance, and invoicing.
• Interact with the customer daily to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare various production, quality, safety, and timeliness reports.
• Investigate and correct quality-related issues.

Our operation is based in Mesa, AZ and supports Boeing Aerospace in the area. We manage and operate a warehouse facility providing pick and pack, sequencing, and inventory management support.

Shifts Available:

2nd shift:Monday - Friday from 1:30pm - 11:30pm

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Analysis of customer reported defects on inventory
• Monitoring daily productivity, SOP compliance, KPI performance and invoicing
• Interacting with the customer on a daily basis and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Expert in Microsoft (Excel) - Other systems: SAP & EWM
• Various reports related to production, quality, safety, timeliness, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies
• Investigate (and correct) any quality related issues
• Other tasks delegated by the customer and/or Quality Supervisor

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Experience in transportation, logistics or distribution center environment preferred
• Able to work a maximum 40 hour work week.
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Moderate proficiency with office based software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Associate's Degree preferred but not required
