Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Research Assistant to support qualitative research under the supervision of a senior investigator. You will contribute to data collection, coding, and analysis related to geriatrics, medical education, and integrative medicine.

Responsibilities include coordinating interviews/focus groups, literature reviews, and preparing academic products. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of research experience are required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, education, health sciences, or a related field.
• Relevant research and data management experience 1-2 years required.
• Qualitative research experience preferred.
• Master’s-level training completed or in progress is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with participant recruitment, scheduling, interviews, and focus groups.
• Review, de-identify, organize, and code qualitative data.
• Help develop and apply qualitative codebooks.
• Participate in thematic analysis and research-team meetings.
• Conduct focused literature reviews.
• Assist with abstracts, presentations, manuscripts, and IRB materials.
• Maintain confidential and accurate research records.
• Complete required research training and perform other related duties as assigned.
