Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a passionate Qualified Professional to join our team in North Carolina. You’ll support service recipients under Innovations Waiver or State Funded Services, ensuring they receive compassionate, high-quality care and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related human service field with 2 years of full-time IDD experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with 4 years of full-time IDD experience.
• Master’s degree in related human service field with 1 year of full-time IDD experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized short-term goals and interventions for recipients.
• Conduct clinical and employee supervisory visits ensuring standards of care and compliance.
• Provide ongoing development plans and annual performance evaluations for direct care staff.
• Participate in ISP meetings and advocate for recipients’ preferences and needs.
• Monitor billing and maintain accurate documentation; resolve grievances promptly and compassionately.
• Represent Abound Health at community events to raise awareness and connections.

What You'll Do

As a Qualified Professional, you’ll play a key role in supporting and advocating for Service Recipients receiving Innovations Waiver or State Funded Services. You’ll be at the heart of helping individuals live meaningful lives, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related human service field with 1 year of full-time IDD experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment. Additionally, our 401(k) plan becomes available after 12 months of employment.
