SPARC Programs in McDowell County, NC is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to provide Community Support Team (CST) services for adults with mental illness and substance use needs.

$48,000+ Incentive Bonuses - We are looking for a Qualified Mental Health Professional to provide Community Support Team (CST) in McDowell County, NC. CST serves adults with mental illness and substance use needs whose treatment requires additional support to live in the community using a team approach to meet each client’s needs.

CST is designed to provide:

1. Symptom stability through the reduction of presenting psychiatric or substance use disorder symptoms
2. Restorative interventions targeting interpersonal, community, coping, and independent living skills
3. Psychoeducation
4. Crisis intervention and de-escalation
5. Service coordination and linkage to community resources

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults and/or adolescents in the mental health field
• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, or related)
