River Terrace Retirement Community in Bluffton, IN is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer prescribed medications and maintain medical records under supervision. Shifts include 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am.

Responsibilities

• Gives direct patient care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients, and assists in examinations and treatments.
• Receives supply of ordered medications and apportions, mixes, or assembles drugs for administration.
• Records and restocks medication inventories.

Qualified Medication Aide QMA Administers prescribed medications to patients and maintains related medical records under the supervision of the Charge Nurse

Shifts available:

• Full-Time/Part-Time:6am-2pm, 2p-10p and 10p-6a

Responsibilities:

• Presents medication to the patient and observes ingestion or other application, or administers medication.

• Gives direct patient care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients, and assisting in examinations and treatments.
• Receives supply of ordered medications and apportions, mixes, or assembles drugs for administration to a patient.
• Records and restocks medication inventories.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Assistant CNA Program, with successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide designation requirements.
• Must be 18 years and older.
