Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) / Self-Directed Assistant (SDA) in Blue Island, IL. The role supports individuals in the Home-based program and requires advocacy and coordination of QIDP responsibilities.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week, typically 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday) with occasional evenings or weekends and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in social services or related field, plus one-year experience working with people with intellectual disabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in the use of computers and software applications
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
• Ability to complete Department of Human Services QIDP training and background check requirements

Responsibilities

• Advocate on behalf of individuals in the Home-based program
• Fulfill QIDP/SDA responsibilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities in work and home settings
• Support coordination of services within Blue Cap’s Home-based Department
