Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a General Manager for a quick service restaurant inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will lead the day-to-day operations, manage a dedicated team, and drive profitability while upholding brand standards and food safety.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with Brand Partners and support teams to deliver fast, friendly service and high-quality food offerings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience supervising in a quick service restaurant.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours/week incl. days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods; lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day QSR operations to meet sales, speed, customer satisfaction, and food quality standards.
• Maintain budgets, inventory controls, food and labor costs, gross profit, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Foster an engaging work culture with learning, development, and recognition.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a strong team with appropriate staffing levels.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, promotion, and disciplinary actions for the QSR team.
• Ensure cash handling procedures are followed and policy compliance is maintained.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
