Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers seeks a General Manager for a quick service restaurant inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will manage day-to-day operations, lead the QSR team, meet sales and service targets, ensure brand standards and food safety, and drive profitability.

You’ll recruit, train, and develop staff, balance budgets, control food and labor costs, monitor cash handling, and collaborate with partners across the business to deliver a premier guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Experience supervising or managing in a quick service restaurant.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day QSR operations inside a travel plaza to meet targets.
• Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and development.
• Maintain budgets, inventory, and labor costs; monitor profitability.
• Ensure brand standards, food safety, and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, and Finance.
