Fair Oaks Farms in Indiana is seeking a Milkshed Assistant Manager to lead daily department operations and deliver a welcoming guest experience. You will coach staff, oversee milkshake and ice cream service, manage labor, inventory and food costs, and report to the Wholesale & Retail Manager.

You will open/close shifts, maintain service speed and quality, handle guest concerns professionally, enforce food safety standards, and drive promotional initiatives alongside the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of leadership and customer service experience.
• Ability to coach, prioritize work and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and communication skills, including email, phone and in-person communication.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn POS, inventory and scheduling systems.
• Ability to calculate percentages and margins, review sales and labor reports, and apply inventory and cost control practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily Milkshed operations, including opening and closing, station assignments, service flow and completion of assigned duties.
• Maintain service speed, order accuracy, product presentation and consistent milkshake and ice cream quality during peak and slower periods.
• Resolve escalated guest concerns professionally within company guidelines and communicate significant issues to the Manager.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, cleanliness and equipment care standards; verify temperature checks and daily records.
• Prepare Milkshed schedules for Manager’s approval using availability and needs; monitor labor hours and overtime against targets.
• Train staff and coach the Supervisor/Shift Lead; manage timekeeping and attendance; support corrective actions as needed.
• Lead inventory audits, ordering and waste controls; review food costs and vendor pricing with Manager.
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, and POS training; develop seasonal menu items and promotions with the team.
