Restaurant Assistant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience in a quick‑service or fast‑casual environment
- Demonstrated hands‑on leadership with experience hiring, coaching, and developing teams
- Experience managing fryer‑based operations
- Strong working knowledge of restaurant financials, including P&L, food cost, and labor expenses
- Ability to create and manage employee schedules aligned with business needs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be ServSafe certifiable
Restaurant Assistant General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience as an Assistant General Manager or high‑level Assistant Manager
- Dairy Queen experience is a plus
- Background in budgeting, forecasting, and driving sales growth
- Proven success improving restaurant performance and guest satisfaction
