Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Quality Management Systems (QMS) Manager to join the Apex, NC team. You will own and drive the Pentair Pool QMS, aligning policies, procedures, and governance across the organization to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

You will lead internal audits, CAPA, and data-driven quality reviews, while promoting a culture of quality and cross-functional collaboration. Travel ~25% to supplier locations and facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE) preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years managing or administering Quality Management Systems.
• Experience leading ISO 9001 implementation, certification, or maintenance activities.
• Demonstrated success in developing procedures, audit programs, and quality governance systems.
• Experience with corrective action systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Pentair Pools Quality Management System.
• Develop and deploy quality policies, manuals, procedures, standards, and work instructions.
• Lead internal audit program and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with quality procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead CAPA processes and root cause analysis with sustainable closures.
• Develop KPIs and prepare management review presentations.
• Champion a culture of quality and deliver training on quality systems.
• Travel approximately 25% to visit facilities and supplier locations.
