Job summary

Canrig Manufacturing seeks an experienced HSE leader to guide and support environmental, health and safety programs across facilities. You will drive compliance, manage incident investigations, and promote a proactive safety culture with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include leading risk assessments, implementing ISO-aligned processes, and coordinating with operations, HR and finance. Travel domestically and internationally will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) experience.
• 3+ years of management experience within HSE.
• 1+ years in manufacturing environment, especially oilfield capital equipment.
• Leadership to influence shop and area management.
• Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication with management and semi-skilled laborers.
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/PowerBI.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Directs and promotes a proactive safety culture across sites.
• Manages direct reports implementing HSE standards and programs.
• Plans and executes QHSE standards per local, state and federal rules.
• Reviews site hazard assessments and provides corrective action guidance.
• Promotes Intelex, HSE dashboards and Safety in the Moment.
• Supports Area HSE teams and Operations Management in hazard correction.
• Advises BU Leadership on compliance concerns and preventive actions.
• Develops best practices and We Always Check/JSA implementations.
• Manages OSHA mandated meetings, training and record retention.
• Presents required material in company and customer meetings.
• Creates documents/policies for OSHA, EPA and regulatory agencies.
• Manages emergency response for designated locations.
• Leads incident investigations, case management and near misses.
• Manages incident statistics and HSE reporting system.
• Maintains OSHA 300 log and Tier II reporting.
• Keeps safety files and records up to date.
• Collaborates with Learning, HR and Finance for operations.
• Provides compliance and performance reports to senior management.
• Implements program improvements for optimum performance.
• Assists Risk Management with incidents and workers' comp.
• Frequent travel domestically and internationally.
