Job summary

Safe Air Technology, Inc. is a growing manufacturer of mission-critical HVAC systems seeking a Director of Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) to lead quality, safety and environmental programs across our manufacturing operations.

You will develop policies, perform audits, ensure OSHA compliance, drive CAPA/NCR actions, and implement SOPs and controls to protect staff and improve operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, quality, safety, environmental science, manufacturing, industrial technology, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive experience in quality, safety, manufacturing or QHSE leadership.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and manufacturing safety programs.
• Experience in NCR management, CAPA, root-cause analysis, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives across manufacturing, warehouse, and field support functions.
• Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures and training programs.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain required documentation/reporting.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Track safety metrics and present performance reports to leadership.
• Coordinate safety training and oversee workers’ compensation coordination.
• Serve as primary contact for regulatory inspections and compliance matters.
