Job summary

Newrest is seeking a QHSE Manager to lead quality, health, safety and environmental initiatives across the unit. You will drive compliance, implement robust policies, manage audits, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You will partner with cross-functional teams and external regulators to ensure alignment with standards. The role emphasizes leadership, risk mitigation, and data-driven decision making to reduce incidents and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (OHS, Environmental Science, Engineering).
• 5–7 years of experience in a QHSE managerial role.
• Experience creating safety programs or driving culture change in safety.
• Experience managing a team of direct and indirect reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement Quality, Health, Safety & Environment policies and initiatives.
• Lead QHSE team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
• Monitor regulations, conduct audits, and ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and risk controls.
• Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Track environmental performance and promote sustainable practices.
• Deliver QHSE training and competency assessments.
• Prepare and present QHSE performance reports to management.
