Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Sr Manager for QFS COE, Systems, Standards and Certifications. The role leads governance, deployment and continuous improvement of Quality & Food Safety systems, standards, and certification programs across US/Canada, aligning regional needs with global QFS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of combined experience in quality, food safety, ingredients, packaging, manufacturing processes or related technical functions.
• Advanced understanding of QFS systems and current food regulations applicable to the role scope.
• Experience with third‑party certification programs and auditing (SQF, FSSC or other GFSI schemes).
• Strong knowledge of plant production systems, GMP, sanitation and relevant operational controls.
• Experience driving corrective action, process improvement and sustainable change.
• Experience leading people, including managers or technical specialists, and building team capability.
• Located in WP or LSVL, Travel 25%.

Responsibilities

• Govern QFS systems and standards; partner with global teams.
• Lead third‑party certification programs and qualification processes in US/Canada.
• Ensure certification requirements translate into effective processes and records.
• Lead product labeling, artwork review and associated QFS expectations.
• Build cross‑functional partnerships to deliver compliant, timely solutions.
• Develop, manage and improve KPIs for the function.
• Provide education and guidance to plants on label control and certifications.
