Job summary

OnePay is seeking a QE Platform Engineer to shape how engineering teams ship to production by building scalable test automation infrastructure. You will design shared frameworks, maintain robust test execution pipelines, and partner with teams to raise testing maturity across web, mobile, and backend services.

The role requires 5+ years in test automation or QE, with deep experience in Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or Cypress, and strong TypeScript/Node.js skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in test automation or QE/backend/platform engineering with a strong testing focus.
• Experience designing/building test automation frameworks used by multiple teams.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and architecting test frameworks, not just writing tests.

Responsibilities

• Design and own shared test automation frameworks used by engineering teams across web, mobile, and backend services.
• Build and maintain test execution infrastructure that runs automated suites reliably at scale, including flaky-test detection and triage tooling.
• Partner with engineering teams to raise test coverage and testing maturity, embedding quality practices into the development workflow.
• Develop tooling for test environment provisioning, test data management, and parallelized test execution to keep feedback loops fast.
• Instrument and monitor test infrastructure health (pass rates, run times, flakiness) and drive down friction points that slow teams down.
• Contribute to internal documentation and best practices that help other engineers write and maintain effective automated tests.
