Job summary

Continental General is seeking a Manager of Software Quality Engineering to lead a high-performing QE organization. The role focuses on designing scalable End-to-End automation for UI and API, with hands-on framework development and Shift Left practices.

You will drive CI/CD integration, AI-assisted testing, and regulatory compliance, while mentoring engineers in a hybrid Austin-based environment. You will partner with developers, product owners, and technical leaders to create robust test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical engineering experience.
• 5+ years of progressive Software Quality Engineering experience.
• Experience managing technical QE teams and driving automated testing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and scaling of End-to-End automation for UI and API layers.
• Drive Shift Left testing practices and ensure compliance and elite quality gates.
• Mentor teams, conduct code reviews, and upskill engineers in automation.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define testing strategies and remove bottlenecks.
