Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a QC Technician B to ensure products meet quality standards throughout production. You will perform inspections of work in process and finished goods and document findings to support release decisions.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work the 6 pm–6 am shift four days a week (Mon–Thu). Training will cover quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in manufacturing/quality setting.
• Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel & Word.
• Willingness to work 6 pm–6 am shift, Mon–Thu.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of work in process and finished products and document any rejections.
• Reviews and maintains Certificates of Analysis (COA’s) for incoming raw materials and approves their release for production.
• Assist in addressing customer complaints about nonconforming products and notify management of discrepancies.
• Provide training to production colleagues on quality control concepts and inspection techniques as needed.
• Inspect operational areas of the plant multiple times a day.
• Identify and communicate nonconformances to the affected department with quality hold tickets.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QC Technician B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Ensures products meet all required quality standards and specifications to maintain the integrity of Inteplast production processes and customer satisfaction. Makes decisions based on a strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory compliance, as well as experience with precision measuring instruments, computer knowledge, and data collection methods. Shift Hours 6 pm -6 am, 4 days/week (Monday-Thursday)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in manufacturing and quality setting required.
• Ability to make analytical judgments on correctness, accuracy, and appropriateness of information.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
• Good math and computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. (Microsoft Excel and Word)
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inside and outside environments apply.
• Subject to hazards such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat or explosives.
• Subject to oils and other cutting fluids via touch or air.
