Job summary

LMG is seeking an AV technician to prepare LED equipment for events, test systems, and ensure quality. You will stage gear, verify components, and coordinate with teams to support logistics for live productions.

You will work with clients, adapt to production schedules, and may require night and weekend availability to ensure successful events. Health, dental, vision benefits are provided along with retirement options.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years hands-on audiovisual experience.

What You'll Do
Prepare Equipment for Success
  • Review reservations, show orders, pull lists, and related documentation to prepare LED equipment for upcoming events.
  • Pull and stage equipment while verifying that all required components are available and accounted for.
Test and Verify LED Systems
  • Set up, inspect, and test LED systems and related equipment to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Replicate show conditions when testing equipment to confirm performance and reliability.
  • Complete quality control documentation and checklists for all assigned equipment.
Maintain Quality Standards
  • Inspect equipment for cleanliness, cosmetic condition, and operational readiness.
  • Perform routine cleaning, labeling updates, and minor cosmetic repairs as needed.
  • Identify equipment requiring advanced repair and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
Support Inventory and Logistics
  • Track equipment availability and communicate discrepancies that could impact schedules or customer needs.
  • Assist with staging, manifesting, loading, unloading, local deliveries, and equipment returns.
  • Help ensure shipping cases and supporting materials are functional and ready for transport.
  • Work closely with Account Executives, Equipment Logistics Coordinators, Quality Assurance, and other operational teams to support successful event execution.
  • Communicate technical concerns, scheduling challenges, and equipment readiness updates clearly and proactively.
What You Bring
  • 2-3 years of hands-on audiovisual experience.
