Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Quality Inspector responsible for inspecting work compliance with applicable codes and specifications. This role requires a deep understanding of the company's quality control program and involvement in performing compliance audits.

The ideal candidate will have certifications in AWS/CWI, ASNT NDT, and API, alongside 5 to 7 years of relevant experience or an engineering background with a BS Degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years as a top craftsman or 4 years craft with an Associate's Degree.
• Engineer with a BS Degree and 2 years' experience also considered.
• Strong understanding of company standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and either accepts or rejects work performed.
• Performs audits for compliance with quality standards.
• Completes necessary records and upkeeps tools.

Job description

SUMMARY

Inspects accepts and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understanding and working knowledge of the company quality control program, company standards, procedures and codes.
• Performs audits to ensure compliance
• Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties as required.

Certifications required for AWS/CWI, ASNT NDT, & API Inspectors. This is an individual who would generally have a minimum of 5 to 7 years as a top craftsman, or 4 years craft and an Associate's Degree, or an engineer with a BS Degree and 2 years' experience.
