Job summary

Arcosa Telecom Structures, LLC is seeking an inspector to assist with daily quality, production, safety and on-time delivery expectations. You will perform VT/UT/MT inspections and visual tests to ensure materials and welds meet standards throughout manufacturing.

Role requires at least 2 years of inspection experience, familiarity with AWS D1.1, and ability to communicate with customers. CWI preferred but not required. Equal opportunity employer, with safety committees involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control/inspection.
• Experience with AWS D.1.1 standards.
• Ability to apply quality science independently.
• Strong communication with customers.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
• Reliable with good attendance and dependable attitude.
• CWI certification preferred but not required.

Job description

Assist with the communication of daily expectations for Quality, Production, Safety and On Time Deliveries

Ensure employees follow all safety procedures and protocols, serve on safety committees and complete regular safety audits

Ensure all paperwork is properly completed on time and accurately

Assist with calibration of tools following appropriate standards and work instructions

Perform VT, UT, and MT inspections on utility structures throughout the manufacturing process

Provide visual/measured inspections/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements.

Complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.

Make visual and measured inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements

Inspect materials or plates, outgoing materials, fittings, and welds throughout the manufacturing process

Perform nondestructive examination to verify specified dimension, strengths, and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment

Complete inspection records and reports and insert data accordingly and accurately

Participate in safety committees and/or other initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:
