Job summary

Arcosa Inc. in Muskogee, OK is seeking a Quality Inspector to support manufacturing operations. The role involves performing visual, nondestructive and verified inspections to ensure materials and products meet all requirements and documenting results.

You will assist in communicating daily expectations for Quality, Production, Safety and on-time deliveries, participate in safety committees, and help calibrate tools and maintain inspection records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection or similar role.
• Ability to apply quality science independently.
• Experience with AWS D.1.1 standards is a plus.

• Assist with the communication of daily expectations for Quality, Production, Safety and On Time Deliveries
• Ensure employees follow all safety procedures and protocols, serve on safety committees and complete regular safety audits
• Ensure all paperwork is properly completed on time and accurately
• Assist with calibration of tools following appropriate standards and work instructions
• Perform VT, UT, and MT inspections on utility structures throughout the manufacturing process
• Provide visual/measured inspections/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements.
• Complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.
• Make visual and measured inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements
• Inspect materials or plates, outgoing materials, fittings, and welds throughout the manufacturing process
• Perform nondestructive examination to verify specified dimension, strengths, and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment
• Complete inspection records and reports and insert data accordingly and accurately
• Participate in safety committees and/or other initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of 2 years of experience

• The ability to effectively communicate with customers
• Familiarity with appropriate codes and regulations
• The ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance
• A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal
• CWI certification preferred, but not required
