Job summary

Walmart seeks a quality control leader for our Distribution Center to drive QC operations, ensure food safety and product integrity, and coach a team of associates. You will apply data-driven insights using Tableau and Power BI to improve performance, manage inbound priorities, and maintain safe, efficient product flow.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with strong focus on cold chain and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, food safety, or related area with 3 years’ experience in quality control or warehouse operations, or 5 years’ experience in quality control/warehouse/supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily QC operations across the floor and office, ensuring alignment with quality, food safety, and commodity standards.
• Manage cold chain compliance, inbound HACCP processes, operational audits, and key QC metrics.
• Use SharePoint, Tableau, and Power BI to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and provide actionable reporting.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to prioritize inbound deliveries and plan for workload and staffing needs.
• Lead, coach, and develop associates through training, feedback, recognition, accountability, and succession planning.
• Oversee specialized processes including banana ripening, cooler walks, inventory, supplies, inspections, and audits.
• Lead daily startup meetings and clearly communicate performance expectations, priorities, and business updates.
• Identify process improvements and help implement solutions that improve quality, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
