Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Quality Control leader for a fast-paced Distribution Center in Winter Haven, FL.

You will guide QC operations, ensure food safety and quality standards, and drive data-informed decisions to keep products moving safely and efficiently. You’ll manage cold chain compliance, HACCP processes, and key QC metrics while coaching associates and partnering with Supply Chain and Operations to optimize staffing and inbound deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, food safety, or related area and 3 years’ experience in quality control or warehouse operations
• Alternatively, 5 years’ experience in quality control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management
• Experience with HACCP and cold chain compliance (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead daily QC operations across the floor and office, ensuring alignment with quality, food safety, and commodity standards.
• Manage cold chain compliance, inbound HACCP processes, operational audits, and key QC metrics.
• Use tools such as SharePoint, Tableau, and Power BI to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and provide actionable reporting.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to prioritize inbound deliveries and plan for workload and staffing needs.
• Lead, coach, and develop associates through training, feedback, recognition, accountability, and succession planning.
• Oversee specialized processes including banana ripening, cooler walks, inventory, supplies, inspections, and audits.
• Lead daily startup meetings and clearly communicate performance expectations, operational priorities, and business updates.
• Identify process improvements and help implement solutions that improve quality, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
