Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. in Chaska, MN, is seeking a QC Microbiologist I on first shift. This regular full-time role supports manufacturing with accurate, reproducible QC testing of in-process, final, and raw materials, and requires attention to detail.

You will document and trend results, maintain cleanroom readiness, and collaborate with production and QA teams. A BS in Microbiology and GMP lab experience are required; starting salary between $57,000 and $61,000, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• BS in Microbiology or related life science.
• Experience in GMP lab applications.
• Basic understanding of biological technology and methodology.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as function effectively as a team member.
• Proven ability to maintain a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on in-process product, final product, and raw materials for routine testing, validation testing, and stability testing.
• Communicate results through documentation, batch records, statistics, and trending.
• Acquire and maintain cleanroom and gowning qualification and maintain hygiene.
• Maintain awareness of and perform all support activities necessary for cleanroom work.
