Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. in Chaska, MN is seeking a QC Microbiologist I for the 2nd shift to ensure accurate, reproducible QC testing supporting manufacturing. The role offers a four-day work week and a competitive total rewards package with shift premium.

The candidate will perform testing on in-process, final, and raw materials, document results, and assist with cleanroom activities while growing within a development‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• BS in Microbiology or related life science.
• Experience in GMP lab applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on in-process product, final product, and raw materials for routine testing, validation testing, and stability testing.
• Communicate results through documentation and batch records, statistical analysis and trending.
• Acquire and maintain cleanroom and gowning qualification and maintain hygiene and physical conditioning for gowning.
• Maintain awareness of and perform all support activities necessary for cleanroom work.
