Job summary

Zoetis is seeking a Quality Control Associate I to support material management within the QC department. You will monitor inventories, coordinate with vendors, and help manage the stability program in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.

This role also covers equipment maintenance scheduling, regulatory reporting, and back-up support for QC sample handling and documentation, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in scientific discipline or business with 0–2 years experience or 6 years relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to interact positively with all levels of colleagues.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with regulatory requirements (9CFR & EU).
• Experience maintaining departmental budgets and inventory using management systems.

Responsibilities

• Material & Vendor Management: review and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies to support operations.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely procurement and notify QC personnel of delays or discontinuations.
• Monitor department budget to ensure spend stays within the allotted budget.
