Job summary

Select Source International is seeking a Lab Tech Sr. for a 6-month onsite assignment in Santa Rosa, CA. The role focuses on SOP adherence, data processing, and quality control in GC/MS and LC/MS/MS workflows.

Responsibilities include sample identification, data processing, LIS entry, and maintaining chain-of-custody documents while ensuring a safe work environment. A bachelor's degree in chemistry and at least one year of lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field is required.
• At least one year of experience in an analytical lab.
• Ability to safely work with chemicals and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures.
• Identify analyzed samples and verify sequence accuracy for each batch.
• Process instrument data and generate reports.
• Conduct the first review of GC/MS and LC/MS/MS data per SOP.
• Transcribe or upload results to the LIS for final review.
• Maintain Chain of Custody documentation.
• Communicate with supervisors and escalate challenges as needed.
• Maintain a safe healthful environment for self and colleagues.
