Job summary

Jobot seeks a permanent Laboratory Technician in Stockton, CA to conduct analyses of materials, interpret results, and ensure product quality. You will work on allergen safety, data reporting, and collaboration with the quality team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a laboratory technician in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven ability to analyze data and provide feedback to the supervisor team.
• Strong understanding of chemical safety and allergen inspections.
• Excellent team player with the ability to work effectively with the quality team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples.
• Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
• Perform visual inspections of finished products.
• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure that the product meets all quality standards.
• Conduct allergen inspections of equipment and ensure all safety protocols are adhered to.
• Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses.
• Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
• Promote a safe work environment by following safety procedures and protocols.
