Job summary

Corning Inc. in Woodland, CA is seeking a QC Lab Analyst to support quality control testing, incoming raw material inspection, and documentation to sustain regulatory and customer expectations.

You will report to the QC Lab Analyst/Site Lead, performing microbiology, biochemistry, and cell culture tests, maintaining records, and assisting with audits and CAPAs. A 4-year science degree and 1–3 years in a lab are required.

Qualifications

• 4-year Biology or Chemistry degree is required.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing, engineering, or quality lab settings.
• Ability to develop and train on SOPs; ensure ISO/QMS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review microbiology testing (sterility, bioburden, endotoxin).
• Perform biochemistry/chemistry testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Conduct cell culture testing and related assays as needed.
• Submit samples to third party labs and review results for accuracy.
• Maintain calibration/PM records and document control submissions.
• Support CAPA tracking, OOS investigations, and on-time closures.
