Job summary

Techmer PM in Batavia, IL is seeking a QC Lab Technician for 2nd shift. You will ensure product quality through testing and process control, operating lab equipment and handling raw materials and finished products.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years lab or compounding experience, strong math, and English communication; Spanish is a plus. Competitive benefits and weekly pay for hourly staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of compounding or laboratory experience.
• Strong math skills to understand analytical reports.
• Must pass Hue Value/Chroma Munsell test and distinguish color hues.
• Proficient in basic computer use and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate lab equipment including injection molding, film, pellet melters, and other machinery.
• Perform QC testing and ensure products meet specifications.
• Adjust color online or offline and advise on run vs pull decisions.
• Gather data, generate COAs, and maintain QC files.
• Investigate nonconforming materials and take corrective actions.
• Maintain color and material standards; support process improvements.
