Job summary

IP Corporation is seeking a QC Lab Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday–Friday) in South Bend, IN. The role focuses on laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.

Ideal candidates have a High School degree and prefer 0–3 years in a lab or QC setting, with a background in chemistry or materials science. Onsite position with a path to growth within a private manufacturing group.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control role preferred.
• Experience in chemical or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow standardized testing procedures.
• Basic data analysis and documentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Follow standard test methods and procedures to ensure accurate results.
• Record and analyze test data and report findings.
• Verify that products meet quality specifications and standards.
• Support troubleshooting and investigation of quality issues.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Document results and maintain accurate lab records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Communicate results and issues to Production and Quality teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
