Job summary

Techmer PM is seeking a QC Technician at our Rancho Dominguez, CA facility for the 3rd shift (9:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m., M–F). Training may occur on 1st/2nd shift. Pay is $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits starting day one.

Responsibilities include QC testing, color adjustments, COA completion, and maintaining lab records. Minimum HS diploma and 2+ years lab experience required; color spectrophotometer familiarity and basic lab skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least 2 years of lab or compounding experience.
• Experience operating color spectrophotometers and lab equipment.
• Ability to read Product & Process specifications and COA.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment and analytical test instruments to verify QC requirements.
• Perform color adjustments on-line or off-line and document actions.
• Complete COA with required information and maintain QC files.
• Investigate nonconforming materials and products and take appropriate action.
• Use basic statistics and SPC tools as applicable.
• Ensure lot-to-lot color consistency and report out-of-control data.
• Maintain lab records, standards, and data files for upcoming runs.
