Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating lab activities, reviewing analytical data, supporting investigations, and ensuring adherence to cGMP and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and at least 2+ years QC lab experience.
• Strong knowledge of cGMPs and analytical lab operations.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high performing QC team, set performance expectations and provide feedback.
• Oversee lab operations across materials, in-process and finished products, coordinating staffing as needed.
• Identify test results needing attention and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve analytical data for product release per regulatory requirements.
• Support investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Communicate QC metrics and lead Tier meetings.
• Ensure procedures align with cGMP and safety standards.
• Assist with instrument maintenance and capacity planning.
• Assist in lab facility inspections and audits.
• Serve as backup to Lab Manager and manage waste.
