Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking an experienced Quality Control Lab Technician for a chemical manufacturing facility in Port Neches, TX. The role involves conducting chemical and physical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, with meticulous data recording.

The position is temp-to-hire with a Dupont 12-hour rotating day/night schedule (4-4). Candidates should have 2+ years in an industrial lab, and experience with GC and HPLC.

Qualificações

• AS or BS in Chemistry or related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an industry laboratory.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation including GC and HPLC.
• Ability to collect samples in varying climatic conditions.
• Detail oriented, self-starter, able to multi-task, strong work ethic.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to the established schedule for hourly sample pickup.
• Perform analytical testing of plant samples on an hourly basis (GC, HPLC, viscosity, wet chemistry).
• Record test data in laboratory database accurately.
• Perform retesting as needed and report results.
• Advise shift supervision on product quality and testing matters.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot as time permits.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and wear PPE as required.
