Job summary

Kelly Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to ensure the integrity of products through rigorous laboratory testing and meticulous record-keeping. The role is based at the Houston facility (77020) and requires a background in a manufacturing setting plus strong safety practices.

The position features a 6:00am–3:00pm schedule, Monday–Friday, and a temporary-to-hire contract. Target pay is $19.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow in a busy industrial lab environment.

Qualifications

• Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of lab or manufacturing experience OR a BS in a physical science such as Chemistry or Materials Science.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Testing & Analysis: perform comprehensive product testing using lab equipment and prepare standard lab solutions.
• Documentation: maintain accurate lab records and ensure correct labeling and documentation for shipments.
• Collaboration & Safety: work with production and quality teams and actively participate in safety meetings and root-cause analysis.
